We saw a sloth

and some monkeys

sunny 28 °C

Last night there was a storm so we stayed at the hostel and met an interesting boy who was hitchiking around the globe for four years. We went to bed fairly early in our gloriously comfy hammocks under the corrugated iron roof.

This morning we decided to change hostels so that we could cook in a nice kitchen. Nadav, Sam and Yves accompanied us and we went on the catch the bus to Cahuita. We had a lovely long walk through the national park along the coast. WE SAW A SLOTH AND IT WAS THE BEST MOMENT OF OUR LIVES. After anout 2 hours of walking we were starting to get desperate for food, but there was still 5km to go. We stopped for a rest and us girls went for a crawl around in the beautiful clear warm sea as it was too shallow for swimming. Later we saw lots of cute white faced monkeys. As we neared the end of the trail we screamed with joy as there was a restaurant in sight!

We had a chicken meal and then caught the bus back to peurto viejo.
