Boquete

sunny 28 °C

On Thursday morning I got the 8 am bus that would take me to boquete, it lasted a hellish 9 hours! But it was ok because I met a nice american couple named Sydney and Shane who were obsessed with the vicar of dibley.

We arrived in the early evening, the town is very pretty, in the mountains and thankfully a bit cooler. We went for a meal that consisted of a variety of suspect meat, one which may have been cow tongue. I met some nice dutch people and we went on a fun night out to a bar that was lit with red lights and had a little band playing. I got into a bet with a spanish man named Juan over the football which I didnt really understand. It turned out that I was expected to drink 15 pints of balboa.

This morning I went with Shane and Sydney for muffins from and American man. He told me he could show me a picture of what i will look like when I am 60. Then we went to a garden named mi jardin es su jardin. It was nice but there were too many flowers for my liking. My favourite thing was a statue of a bull made of barbed wire.
